PRIVACY NOTICE
Last updated: April 17, 2026
1. Who we are
This site (aiforenablement.com) is operated by Michael Thomas Juranek, trading as "AI for Enablement" ("we", "us", "our"). We act as the data controller for personal data collected through the site and our membership service.
For privacy questions, contact us at: privacy@aiforenablement.com.
2. Personal data we collect
- Account data: name, email address, password hash, optional company and job title.
- Profile content: avatar URL and any details you choose to add.
- Support communications: messages you send us by email or contact form.
- Usage and device data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referrer, and approximate location derived from IP.
- Cookies and similar technologies: session cookies required for login and security.
Payment card details are collected and processed directly by our Merchant of Record, Paddle, and are never stored on our systems.
3. How we use your data and legal bases
- Provide the service (account creation, access to resources, members area) — performance of contract.
- Process payments and manage subscriptions — performance of contract, handled jointly with Paddle.
- Customer support — performance of contract / legitimate interests in resolving your requests.
- Security and fraud prevention — legitimate interests and legal obligation.
- Service improvement and analytics — legitimate interests in improving the product.
- Marketing emails (only where you opt in) — consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
4. Who we share data with
- Paddle.com Market Limited — our Merchant of Record for sales, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers (e.g., our cloud database and email delivery providers) acting as processors under contract.
- Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where necessary.
- Authorities where required by law, court order, or to protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. International transfers
Some of our service providers are located outside your country. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
6. Data retention
We keep account data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Billing records retained by Paddle follow Paddle's own retention schedule. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can exercise most rights from your account settings, or by emailing privacy@aiforenablement.com. EU/UK residents also have the right to lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority. We aim to respond within one month.
8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege role-based access — to protect personal data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe.
9. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to secure the site. We do not currently use advertising cookies. If we add analytics or marketing cookies in the future, we will update this notice and, where required, ask for your consent.
10. Changes
We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or via the site. The "Last updated" date above shows the current version.
